You can copy Halo 1 there make sure to patch the XBE for HDD and/or any CD/DVD using deXBE. The E: drive is locked at around 5.3GB or some such. They all hardlock the emu for some reason. I have been unable to get the backups I have burned to boot. I was able to get PSO to boot from RETAIL DISC using this method. One title might not work for what you want, but another may. Remember each game uses its' own configuration. So you will see 0400534D.The Title ID is the 4 bytes before the Gamename.Īnother method is modify the XEFU's and XBOX.XEX manually and search for the title id of the game you want to change. I patched Avalaunch with the Halo Title ID 4 which is 4D530004 remember, when looking at the hex in the XBE it is the bytes are reversed. Using his emulator I was able to get Avalaunch and UnleashX booting as well asl Halo (wish no video) There is still stuff lurking around the embedded xbox kernel but enough has been bypassed to allow XBE's to be resigned to boot from all media. Thank you to Uberfry who has released a working emulator that bypasses SHA/RSA to some extent.
